Arcadia Adventure in Thailand

April 19 - 28, 2009

Explore the crazy, bustling metropolis of Bangkok, experience the stunning scenery and wildlife of Khao Sok National Park, spend a few days chilling on one of the most beautiful beaches in Asia...then return to Phuket to enjoy the shopping and nightlife before heading back to Bangkok for your final night in this enchanting country. 

Itinerary includes:

• 2 nights in the city of Bangkok
• 3 nights in the jungle at Khao Sok National Park
• 2 nights on the secluded, pristine beaches of Ko Yao Island
• 1 night on the bustling island of Phuket
• 1 night in Bangkok

Arcadia Group Trips

Arcadia features 2-3 group trips a year that are open to the public. Our groups are limited to 12 individuals, often from the Philadelphia area although we welcome travelers from around the globe. Our 2009 trip calendar is in the works with our first trip of the year to Thailand in April. We love to gather feedback on where you'd like to go and what you'd like to see. Your opinion can infuence where we go!

Customized Group Trips

Looking for a group trip not on our list? Group travel is an outstanding way to see the world and meet some great people. We recognize that taking time to travel doesn't always match up with your friends, or even arcadia's group trip schedule. Because of this Arcadia has established strong partnerships in our short history from which we can offer you options whatever the adventure might be - biking in Europe, Safaris in Africa, Sailing in Greece - you name it - we'll find it!

Volunteer and eco-tourism

Sometimes the best vacation is one that allows you to help others in another part of the world. If you love to volunteer, why not do it in another part of the U.S. or even another country. We can provide information on volunteer tourism programs or give you more information eco-tourism so you can make more informed travel decisions.

2008 In Review

In 2008 we kicked off our services with an adventure through the vast beauty of Costa Rica with 10 fellow travelers. Our group rode the rapids on the Pacuare River, zipped through the trees at Arenal, and caught some waves in Tamarindo.

We also enjoyed getting to know some area couples on the bring of matrimony. Away took the honeymoon planning off their hands - offering suggestions for lodging, activities and itineraries based on the interests of our clients. The final packages resulted in personalized honeymoons within their budget. Our planning allowed our clients to move more frequently between locations because all transfers were planned in advanced by Away. This enhanced their experience, while spreading the impact of their tourist dollars to many different communities.

We know how stressful planning a wedding can be. A honeymoon should not only be the trip of a lifetime but a chance to relax and enjoy your first days as a married couple together. That is why we'll plan the perfect honeymoon for you with our environment in mind.
